Changing the mouse cursor

To change the mouse cursor under Windows 7


Step 1: Right-click somewhere on your desktop.
Step 2: Select Personalize from the context menu.
Step 3: In the left side navigation pane, click down to Change mouse pointers.
Step 4: In the Pointers tab, select the desired option from the Scheme dropdown menu.
Windows inverted (system scheme) is a good option to improve visibility of your mousse cursor.
Step 5: Click Apply to accept your settings.

Optional:
If you frequently don't find your pointer on the screen, here's a useful option to help you out.
If you don't want to use this option, continue with Step 9.


Step 6: Open the Pointer Options.
Step 7: In the Visibility box, check Show location of pointer when I press the CTRL key.
Step 8: Click Apply to accept your settings and to close the window.

Step 9 Click OK to accept your settings and to close the window.


OR


Step 1: Open the Windows Start menu by pressing the Windows key, type Ease of access, and press Enter.
Step 2: In the Ease of Access Center window, scroll down and click the Make the mouse easier to use link.
Regular inverting is a good option to improve visibility of your mousse cursor. There are also options for Large and Extra Large pointers.
Step 3: In the Make the mouse easier to use window, click the  radio button for the desired option.


Optional:
If you frequently don't find your pointer on the screen, here's a useful option to help you out.
If you don't want to use this option, continue with Step 8.


Step 4: Scroll down in the window and click the Mouse Settings link. The Mouse Properties window opens with the Pointer Options tab.
Step 5: In the Visibility box, check Show location of pointer when I press the CTRL key.
Step 7: Click Apply to accept your settings.

Step 8: Click OK to accept your settings and to close the window.
Step 9: Press Alt+F4 on your keyboard to close the window.





To change the mouse cursor under Windows 10

 Step 1: Right-click somewhere on your desktop.
 Step 2: Select Personalize from the context menu.
 Step 3 In the Personalization window, select Themes from the left side navigation bar.
 Step 4: Click on Mouse cursor.
 Step 5: In the Pointers tab, select the desired option from the Schemes dropdown menu.
Windows inverted (system scheme) is a good option to improve visibility of your mousse cursor.
Step 6: Click Apply to accept your settings.

Optional:
If you frequently don't find your pointer on the screen, here's a useful option to help you out.
If you don't want to use this option, continue with Step 10.


Step 7: Open the Pointer Options tab.

Step 11: Press Alt+F4 on your keyboard to close the window.

OR


Step 1: Open the Windows Start menu by pressing the Windows key, type Mouse Pointer Size, and press Enter.
Step 2: In the  Cursor & Pointer window, use the slider to change the pointer size.
Step 3: Under Change pointer color, click the box for the desired option. The 3rd option would be the one for inverted pointers.

Optional:
If you frequently don't find your pointer on the screen, here's a useful option to help you out.
If you don't want to use this option, continue with Step 9.


Step 4: Scroll down in the window and click the Additional mouse settings link. The Mouse window opens.
Step 5: Scroll down in the window and click the Additional mouse options link. The Mouse Properties window opens.
Step 6: Open the Pointer Options tab.
Step 7: In the Visibility box, check Show location of pointer when I press the CTRL key.
Step 8: Click Apply to accept your settings.

Step 9: Press Alt+F4 on your keyboard to close the window.
